Overview of the Class 1963 Web Site
Purpose: -
This web site is a focal point for consolidating and disseminating
information about the ATS Class of 1963.
Goal: -
Provision of this web site should facilitate the communication and
sharing of information among ex-classmates.
Objectives: -
To provide a central repository for the Class 1963 members whereby
they can submit and retrieve information over the Internet.
To form the basis of a forum that allows the members to share their
knowledge, experience, and interest.
Design Principles: -
The web site is easy to create and maintain.
The navigation within the site is simple and intuitive to be
mastered by a site visitor.
The time required to load a page is kept to a minimum.
A site visitor doesn't need to scroll a lot in order to view a
page.
When a site visitor wants to print a page, the content can fit into
a 8.5" x 11" page without spilling over into separate page(s)
or losing portion of a page.
The web site is designed and developed by following an evolutionary
process.
Constraints: -
This web site is hosted by Tripod as a free service and therefore
it does not support a number of features when pages are developed and
managed with the software FrontPage.
